maryph collects personal data that is necessary to provide regulated online gaming services to Filipino players. The categories of data we collect include:

We do not collect sensitive personal information (as defined under RA 10173) except where strictly required for age verification or regulatory compliance, and only with your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Data

maryph processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• To register and manage your maryph account, including identity verification and KYC compliance.
• To process deposits and withdrawals via GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, and other supported Philippine payment methods.
• To provide, personalise, and improve the maryph gaming experience.
• To send account-related communications, including security alerts, transaction confirmations, and OTP messages to your registered Philippine mobile number.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, money laundering, and other prohibited conduct in compliance with Philippine anti-money laundering laws (AMLA).
• To comply with reporting obligations to PAGCOR and other applicable Philippine regulatory authorities.
• To administer responsible gaming tools, including monitoring for problem gambling indicators and enforcing self-exclusion requests.
• To send promotional communications, but only where you have opted in to marketing and subject to your right to opt out at any time.

maryph will not use your personal data for any purpose incompatible with the purposes stated above without first obtaining your separate consent.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, maryph processes your personal data on the following lawful bases:

• Contractual Necessity: Processing required to fulfil the maryph Terms & Conditions you accepted upon registration, including account management and payment processing.
• Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with PAGCOR licensing conditions, AMLA reporting, and NPC data governance requirements.
• Legitimate Interest: Processing for fraud prevention, platform security, and responsible gaming monitoring, where these interests do not override your privacy rights.
• Consent: Processing for marketing communications, where you have provided freely given, specific, and informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

maryph does not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: Third-party processors engaged by maryph — including game software providers, payment processors (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO), and IT infrastructure providers — who are contractually bound to process data only on maryph's instructions and in accordance with RA 10173.
• Regulatory Authorities: PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), the National Privacy Commission, and other Philippine government bodies, where disclosure is required by law or regulatory mandate.
• Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, your data may be transferred to the succeeding entity subject to the same privacy protections.
• Legal Proceedings: Where disclosure is required by a valid court order, subpoena, or other legally enforceable process issued by a Philippine court or authority.

Any third party that receives your personal data from maryph is required to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect that data.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The maryph website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and analyse usage patterns. The types of cookies we use include:

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Platform to function. These cannot be disabled, as they include session authentication and security tokens.
• Functional Cookies: Remember your language preferences, game settings, and last-visited sections of the maryph Platform.
• Analytics Cookies: Collect aggregate, anonymised data about how players use maryph, helping us improve platform performance and identify popular game categories.

You may control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain maryph features.

6. Data Retention

maryph retains your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with Philippine AML record-keeping obligations and PAGCOR regulatory requirements. Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of ten (10) years as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act.

After the applicable retention period, maryph will securely delete or anonymise your personal data unless further retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

maryph implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:

• 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and maryph servers.
• Password hashing using industry-standard cryptographic algorithms; maryph personnel cannot view passwords in plaintext.
• Two-factor authentication available for all maryph accounts, delivered via OTP to your registered Philippine mobile number.
• Role-based access controls restricting internal access to personal data on a strict need-to-know basis.
• Regular third-party security audits and penetration testing of the maryph Platform.
• Real-time intrusion detection and login anomaly monitoring systems.

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in risks to your rights and freedoms, maryph will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected Players in accordance with the timelines prescribed under RA 10173 and NPC Circular 16-03.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by maryph:

• Right to Be Informed: To know what personal data maryph holds about you and how it is processed.
• Right of Access: To request a copy of the personal data maryph holds about you.

• Right to Object: To object to processing of your personal data for marketing purposes at any time.
• Right to Data Portability: To receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to Lodge a Complaint: To file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your data rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact maryph's Data Protection Officer at the address in Section 11 below. maryph will respond to verified requests within fifteen (15) business days.

9. Children & Minors

The maryph Platform is strictly for adults aged 21 years and older, as required by Philippine gaming regulations. maryph does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by a person under 21, we will immediately delete that data and close the associated account. If you believe a minor has registered on maryph, please contact us immediately at the details in Section 11.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

maryph may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, regulatory requirements, or Platform features. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. For material changes that significantly affect your rights, maryph will notify you via your registered email address or a prominent notice on the Platform before the change takes effect. Continued use of maryph following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
